This 17×8 +40 matches the Journey's factory offset and bolt pattern, placing it at the conservative end of the tested +25 to +40 range for this size—expect a near-stock appearance unless lowered. The extreme tire stretch shown exceeds practical limits; 225/65R17 or 235/65R17 deliver safe sidewall support and load rating for this platform, while 255/60R17 works but borders aggressive stretch. Stock suspension will show minimal fender clearance gains; coilover or lowering hardware lets you exploit the wider track without rubbing concerns.
